An easy marketing and subscription experience is crucial to a service’s success. At Accedo, we understand this and have developed a range of new features to support and enhance selections made during a marketing campaign and the subsequent subscription process. 

Customize campaign URLs to pre-select a subscription or voucher

When promoting your service, reducing barriers to purchase can significantly boost campaign success.

Accedo One now allows you to enhance your campaign URLs by adding parameters for “voucher” and “offer.” This feature pre-selects relevant choices for the users targeted by your campaign.

For instance, if your campaign offers a 50% discount with the voucher code “50DISCOUNT”, simply append “voucher=50DISCOUNT” to your service URL. The voucher will automatically apply the discount during the purchase process.

To direct users to a specific subscription, such as one with the ID “S12345”, add “product=S12345” to your URL query string.

For a campaign featuring a 50% discount on a particular subscription, your URL might look like this:

yourservice.com?voucher=50DISCOUNT&product=S12345

Enable 100% promo code without requiring credit card information 

Previously, users had to enter credit card details even when using a 100% promo code for a subscription, which was not ideal. We’ve improved this process to enhance user experience.

Now, when a 100% promo code is applied, entering credit card information is optional. Users can skip this step, making the process smoother and more convenient.

Optional “Skip” button during subscription plan selection 

Another former obstacle in the sign up process was the requirement to complete a subscription once registration was complete, immediately “forcing” the user to become a subscriber. 

Service providers can now choose to add a “Skip” button to the plan selection page, allowing the user to bypass the subscription step. This lets them register and continue exploring your service while deferring their decision to subscribe.

For users, this creates a more flexible and comfortable sign-up experience. For service providers, it offers the opportunity to increase the number of registered users who can later be targeted in marketing campaigns.

You can configure this feature in your Accedo One Configuration tool by going to “Features” and “Buy on Web”.
