Build anticipation with “Coming Soon”

Anticipation is a powerful tool for engaging audiences. Accedo One's 'Coming Soon' feature allows you to harness that power by showing future videos or shows in advance together with the date on when they become available. By giving viewers a preview of content that is coming up for them, you can build excitement and drive return visits.
 

How does this feature work? 

When a movie or TV show is published, but its availability date is in the future, the video details page displays the date on which the video becomes available to the viewer, with the text 'Coming on <date>'.

• For Web and Mobile platforms, this information is displayed below the video title.
• For TV, the information is displayed on the 'Play' button.

The 'Play' button is hidden until the content's availability window begins. If a Trailer is attached to the video, the 'Play' button is re-labeled 'Trailer' and initiates trailer playback.

How to set up this feature

To enable this feature, contact your Customer Success Manager for activation. It will then function automatically.
