We are pleased to announce that Comcast X1 is now available to existing and new Accedo One customers!
Xfinity X1 is Comcast's advanced entertainment platform, unifying television and internet experiences. It integrates live TV, on-demand content, streaming apps, and smart home functionalities into a single, user-friendly interface.
Comcast attributes increased viewer engagement to X1's advanced features, including voice-activated remote control, personalized recommendations, and integrated streaming apps.
Comcast X1's availability is primarily within Comcast's US service areas - with select licensing agreements in Canada - making it suitable for streaming services operating in these regions.
While X1 is widely accessible across the US via the Comcast network, Canadian availability is facilitated through partnerships with major telecom providers, rebranded as:
Recent partnerships between Xumo and Cox Cable with X1 further expand its potential reach.
Launching on Xfinity X1 gives you exposure to established subscriber bases and therefore can help your service with significantly increased reach.
Xfinity X1 is treated as an additional platform on Accedo One, so please let your Customer Success Manager know about your plans - they will initiate the contract amendment for you.
Separately to this, you also need to contact Comcast directly to initiate platform discussions and establish a commercial relationship.
Once both of the above steps are completed, the Accedo One team will facilitate your onboarding and hel you with the launch of your new platform.
